The tightness of the belly and some video of Rachelle

Update: There is a decent chance that Rachelle's story will be on KVUE in Austin tonight at 10:00 so check it out if you get a chance (we will have to hear from others how it went).

I visited Rachelle for a long time yesterday evening and we had a good visit. A few weeks ago, she started telling me that her skin felt tight. Almost every day since then, she says that it feels tighter than it did the previous day. Yesterday, she said she felt like it was going to burst any second. I put my hand on it and it was amazingly tight. I don't know how those babies are going to be able to grow any more! It looks like if you put a pin in her, it would all pop (not that I plan on doing that).

We also discussed names yesterday. We have had a pretty good idea on names for a while but had a small disagreement on a few of them. I think it is resolved now but I will wait for Rachelle to actually announce them. I have to admit that at first, I honestly couldn't remember all of the names we had come up with. We discussed a lot and I had a hard time trying to remember the ones we settled on. I remember them now but will wait until I get the OK from Rachelle to share them all.

We also took more video the other day that I wanted to share. This is a video of Rachelle posing for photos that her mom is taking. She looks pretty good as you can see. If it were not for that big thing in the middle, she would probably look fairly normal. While we were there the other day, the dietitian came in talked with her about what she should eat. Although the dietitian was serious, the things she recommended were kind of funny.

Seriously Rachelle. You have got to be the CUTEST woman ever! I love the video! Jayson, thank you so much for keeping us curious strangers updated. I have been thinking of you and praying for you. I know it is hard to wait it out, but you can do it! You will be covered in prayer this weekend, esp. d-day!

Hi,
I found your blog through someone else's and have been following along on your progress for a while.
I have to say that I am amazed at your wife's stamina! She looks fantastic and completely "normal" (ie - not pregnant with quintuplets) except for her tummy. As someone who has yet to give birth, I can't imagine what it's like to have one little baby inside you, much less five.

I am eagerly awaiting the babies' arrival and hoping that Rachelle continues to do well. =)

She does look amazing for being almost done! My face and arms always looked more swollen by that point! Though I'm sure she isn't feeling as great as she looks, she does look beautiful!

I can not wait for you guys to announce the names!

Hi Jayson & Rachelle! This is Seanna (Chris's wife!), and though I have only met you, Jayson, a couple of times, I have been keeping up with Rachelle's progress through the website & Chris. The reason why I am leaving this note is to inform you that YES you ARE getting coverage as I type on KVUE!

It is a fantastic story that put you guys in a fabulous light. Rachelle looks beautiful & there are great comments about how well she is doing! I tried to record it for you, but I somehow messed up the cable/tv/video rigging that Chris has established. Hopefully someone else will be able get you a legit copy! :-)

We are keeping you all in our prayers!

Memorizing five children's names may be a challenge now, but just think... remembering their birthday will be a cinch!

PS - I know you've heard it many times, but Rachelle looks wonderful!
